Broom Handle
Cleaning · Easy
Threaded or clip-fit replacement handles for broom and push-broom heads. A cracked handle throws off the sweep angle — a screw-on stick fixes it in a minute.
Replacement cost
$8–$25
Typical lifespan
3 yrs
Maintenance
every 6 months
Tools you may need
- None (threaded)
- Flat screwdriver (clip-fit)
Steps
- Twist the old handle counter-clockwise out of the head (or press the clip and pull).
- Check the head's threads or clip for damage before fitting the new handle.
- Screw the new handle in clockwise until snug — don't overtighten plastic sockets.
- Stand the broom up and confirm the head sits flat with the handle true.
Maintenance
Hang brooms head-down; standing on the handle bows wood and loosens threads. (Suggested interval: every 6 months.)
